Miniature Trading

This Spanish fleet is designed to take advantage of your opponent’s perception of which ship is the most dangerous. Depending on the nature of the opposing ship El Leon and La Resolucion can either hit and run or slug it out. The Firepot Specialists will accelerate the slugfest, or seriously make your opponent bigger ships think twice before trying to chase you down as you light them up and run. I tend to lead with El Leon and follow up with La Resolucion. Desperate ram tactics don’t work on El Leon and she has good cannons. Save the helmsman until you can surprise your opponent with an attack a turn sooner then they expect. A bit later in the game have La Resolucion go after treasure laden ships and steal a bit while you pound on them and hopefully run away with their masts lit up. La Rosario should be going the other way and digging up some treasure. If the game moves into later periods, she should head to the next unexplored island and build a fort.
Possible improvments, would include Contessa and the 5 extra fleet points for a nice event selection. I have not included it due to the risky tactics involved with this fleet.
