For her points in a game, this is a really hard one for me to pass on. I used her on my first game as a gold runner with the gargantuane and 4 mast scooner and did very well with it as a gold runner. I know it is a mixed matched group, but just learning. I rate this ship very well in my opinion. Thanks for the info/thoughts on it.

"Often overlooked gold runner"??
Really?!? Personally I would label it:
"A Top 5 gold runner that you should always keep in mind!"
For a standard 40-point game, aside from the Banshee's Cry and La Bon Marin, this is probably my favorite gold hauler to play. In a very affordable 9-point package you get L+S+S movement to and from a wild island, with all 4 gold on board (using the aforementioned HM/Exp shuffle) for the return trip.
Oh yeah, and the paint job is top notch!

Syrinx is right, Bloody Jewel deserved a better treatment...
Good review for pointing her out, but average marks for undervaluing her.
Still I'd like to see some more Kapnkrunch's reviews...

I personally would rate the Bloody Jewel a 10 for the ship itself. On the otherhand, I would give you a 5 vote for reviewing such an exellent gold runner, but you completely underestamated. In some games we allow duplicates. So I if could, I said if, I could throw in a 60pt game, 10 Bloody Jewels. Have fun with that, (If only you could really do that)
