Spilled Salt

Fear. This ship gets +1 to her boarding rolls.

Captain Lee keeps 13 black cats, a half-dozen broken mirrors, and a complement of women aboard. Other ships consider Spilled Salt so unlucky that they avoid her at all costs.

General description:
Try your luck with this fun little ship.
Uses: Look at the Spilled Salt and you'll see a lot of three's, masts, cargo space, and short range cannon hit rate, round it of with a S+S and you've got a pretty average ship. Plus there is the standard +1 to boarding. The Exeption is the new FEAR text. This may be why the 14 point cost is a bit above usual.
Strategies and game play:
This can be a great support ship. Sail into the fray, fire the round shot, freeze you nemisis with fear. Let another ship do the clean up.
Combos with other miniatures:
Sail it along side a Gun Ship. Add Samy the Skull and the White 99 for crew extermination.
Ways to counteract it:
Three masts = Three hits. Any special abbility neutralizing crew, your opponent has will render this ship a ordinary yet costly three mast-er. Strengths/Pros:
The ship is not strong. However if you want to play with the FEAR key word and the Cursed faction, it's a sturdy choice.

14 point cost is more than I like to pay for this type of ship. (But does allow you to pair sammy and his crew) The all short range cannons is usually a disadvantage.

Artwork and aesthetics:
THE BEST PART OF THIS SHIP. (count the cats on the deck)
Overall rating:
Over all this Ships gets a 7/10. Its one of my favorites because of its Art. (insert your own joke about playing it and getting lucky here)

plus 1 to boarding rolls doesn't stack, so it'd be only 4 starting boarding points, not 5. (1 for each mast + 1 from ability)

Good point I'll edit that bit out.

I like to use this guy to carry equipment. Solid speed and cargo space for different types of shot make him an effective support ship, I think.
