About Me
New to collecting Lego Series Minifigures, but not new to collecting and enjoying Lego (since 1974 when first introduced in the UK). My favorite Lego was Space Lego and I have since collected and enjoyed Star Wars Lego and, most recently, Lord of the Ring and The Hobbit Lego sets. I am extremely reasonable, fair, honest and believe in good, polite correspondence. I am also willing to help out new traders in the same manner that I have been greatly assisted (with not just great trades but valuable info) by the wonderful traders on this site. I am also willing to help members in the accumulation of figures for their armies/projects providing they have something to trade in return.
My Preferences
As this collection is for both my wife and I AND I wish to keep her enthusiastic, I prefer trading first for any and all female minifigures in my WANTs list, HOWEVER, if a trade is really good (much older series figures), I will go for non-female figures (eventually, my wife and I want all 170, soon to me 186 in August). In addition to trading, I am willing to sell certain Series 9 figures (the 14 that are less in demand), HOWEVER, my preference, and the ultimate purpose of acquiring my trading stock, is to trade. I prefer to trade 1-for-1, HOWEVER, for a series 4 figure (and below), I will negotiate (after checking to see if it's not one of those common ones that I can get off eBay/Amazon for $5 including shipping).
I love seeing recycled packaging and the minimal amount of postage applied (2 First Class stamps for 1-2 Minifigures (an extra stamp for every extra 1-2 figures) has shown to be sufficient in my experience). I prefer that you not waste extra money on postage sending me your easy to replace later series (5 and up) Lego Minifigures, however, I advise precautions (as I will too) with early series (4 and below) figures and trades exceeding 6 figures (regardless of series). Go for the minimum insurance premium which covers up to $50 (so you might as well declare it as $50; the last time I did this the maximum claim amount was showing $200 which is even better) and comes with a confirmation number included. Ultimately, the choice is yours and yours alone to make so please take no offense if it only cost me 92 cents (2 First Class stamps) to get your figure to you. Additionally, please take no offense if your figures arrive in the very same bubble envelope that you sent me. You bought it; I am simply returning it to you.
