A Pirate headhunter fleet with four ships, and three of them captained. El Ballista has an explorer mostly to make the opponent think it is captained as well, but since it accomplishes its headhunting with rams it really doesn’t need one. The best strategy is to have El Ballista follow in one of the other ships to clean up the mess left in their wake.

The only thing this setup doesn’t allow for is one on one battles with gunships. If they must be dealt with, it is best to gang up at least two boats.

This fleet works well in games where more than two players are involved.
