EDIT: due to Urd's ability being incorrect in MT's database, this fleet cannot be made as written. I will be putting up a different fleet at some point with a similar purpose.

I'm going to skip the ego stroking that sometimes occurs as a part of fleet descriptions this time.

Here's how this fleet works: you ram, and then you board. There are two tiers of ship in this fleet: heavy hitters and lightweights. The point cost gaps should indicate to you which ship belongs in which class.

With the Lamon, the ship is capable of S+S+S while submerged, with a chance at an extra action. This ship's sole purpose is to ram, ram, ram your boat, gently in the sea, merrily merrily merrily merrily, life was but a dream. The extreme speed and chance at an extra action means it's exceedingly fast, and is capable of ramming and boarding twice in a single turn. What if it loses a boarding action? No problem, it can't lose crew, and it's not meant to carry gold.

The Urd can potentially knock down three masts with a single ram/board, if my math is correct. You start by rolling for the ram, then you knock down a crew/mast for being pinned, and then a successful boarding can further eliminate a mast and a crew.

The three small support ships would fulfill the miscellaneous roles of tug and secondary rammers. The bigger ships would initiate attacks, while the smaller ships would fall in behind them, as they lack any special offensive/defensive abilities of their own, and can do their best damage when an enemy ship is at its most vulnerable to a simple ram roll.

Why the UTs? They make the game harder to win for someone trying to run gold. Since no ship in this fleet is meant to be running gold (this contest was about ramming/boarding, right?) then it'd be ideal for the strategy to be in favor of making opposing play styles less effective.

Not seeing the UT's yet.

Definitely some nice combos. The speed of the Urd could hurt you, as well as the potential for even one enemy gold runner to slip by with gold. Only the Lamon can catch really fast opponents, so a ship that can move when derelict that also has a helmsman might be able to escape before you can somehow sink it. Great job on the theme though, and the one masters should be able to get some gold in a pinch.

As a player who usually sticks to making my fleets with no subs, sea monsters, titans, etc; I really dislike these kind of super subs. Mainly because they do such an annoyingly good job at disrupting my gold runners from getting me a win. Also, since I usually play to win, those UTs would also be very frustrating. Good job at making a very irritating fleet.

I'll take that as a compliment. Of course, given the chance to make a fleet built to counter this one, I'm sure you could manage to frustrate me equally.
