Miniature Trading

This army works well on indoor maps where range isn't going to really help you.

I start with the subplot of bitter hatred and just send the Frothweiler and the Cosmonaut on hunt duty. They both have ghost on their start dial so they can kill quite a few victims without getting too much in the way of danger. Then I throw a couple of Velociraptors at the enemy and try to base them immediately so that my opponent doesn't get to do too much of his own movement. Plus, since velociraptors start blooded, they can go ahead and take a fury strike once they get there. Also it isn't too bad if the velociraptors take a couple hits because once they start getting hit then slash appears on the dial, and they actually have pretty deep dials for rookies.

I'll bring in R'lyeh last to bat clean up on anybody who seems like they might pose a real problem. The asylum spirit I hold in reserve in my starting area. If it looks like one of my attack monsters (the velociraptors and the R'lyeh Guardian) is going to take a hit, I'll play the R'lyeh Gate card to make them switch places with my Asylum Spirit so that the point value for the kill is only going to be 25, and of course there's the chance that I'll be able to posess whoever it is that's attacking me on my next turn.

I'm not sure why the board says this is a 260 point army, it is indeed 300. I think it's only counting one velociraptor.
