This fleet started out with an exercise to see how many crew you could cram aboard Black Heart. In this fleet she has 4 sac actions, plus a 5-6 same action twice, AND a reroll; so she could get 3 actions for possibly 4 straight turns. Headhunter also makes her guns 3L-2L-2S-3S.

Rover/Hag is just an excuse to get Banshee's Cry for free. Le Pique/Baudin does all your exploring for the fleet.

A fairly effective gunship and 2 S+S+S runners.

Devil's Maw (recycle all the crew sacced off Black Heart) and Paradise de la Mer are obivous fort builds.

Favor of the Gods protects Black Heart from Mermaids/Becalmed, whathaveyou.

Nice job on the Black Heart. Its good to see that you included Favor of the Gods--it seems like a standard event when you overload your ship with crew. Something doesn't add up right to me though. The format says this is 54 points, but when I added it up, it should be 45. Am I missing something? Anyway, I saw a place where you could shave a couple of points. Instead of Nicolas-Thomas Baudin, you could just settle for an Explorer. They essentially do the same thing for Le Pique. Unless you were using the Pique to go out and scout all of the islands and claim them for you, but that doesn't protect them all that well from opponent explorers. Just a thought. You could spend the 2 extra points on a Helmsman and get a ship with S+S+S+S. Pretty cool fleet. Your 1-masters look like minnows compared to the Black Heart!
