Calico has been held hostage on the Roanoke by Jonathan haraden. The Bloody Jewel and the Bonnie Liz are working hard to round up enough gold to pay her ransom.

Atleast that's how it looks on the surface. really Calico has used her wits, looks, and guile to bewitch Jonathan, the commadore, and their crew to defend treasure runners in her fleet.

I haven't thought of what unique treasures to add, if anyone has suggestions there that would be great.

I know the fleet could be better, I'm new to the game and playing it for fluff and style.

    I really like the story behind the fleet. That's a fun idea. A couple of suggestions:

    I don't see a connection between the Bonnie Liz and Calico Cat, so if no connection is needed for the story, why not use Banshee's Cry instead?

    With the 5 points you save, you could add Ruth Lee to the Roanoke in order to fit the OE version of Calico Cat on board. Her world-hater ability will really help out the Roanoke's cannons. Unfortunately you also have to lose the Exploding Shot to fit her on board, but I think hitting more often with 5 cannons is better than a 50/50 shot at a fire mast these days. That leaves you with 3 more points. You could add Foul Winds. Or maybe an oarsman to each of your ships. Or maybe Rover and Jolly Mon.

    For UTs for a fleet like this, I generally try to add UTs that will help little treasure runners, but not big gunships as much. Like Cross of Coronado, Homing Beacon, Jailhouse Dog(to get rid of nasty UTs preventing your treasure runners from working), Marksman's Map, etc.

    All in all, a good, entertaining fleet. I give it a 4.00.

    thanks for some good feedback! i'll run it by my friend who is hooking me up with cards since I just started. I'm sure he has all that stuff for me to try out
