15pts HMS Oxley………………..2 masts down per hit………..3 cargo…Long(plus short from Hermione)
05pts Hermione Gold(RotF)…….move&shoot AND +S move…1
03pts Sir Christopher Mings……same action x2 on 5/6……….2
00pts Cameron/Cabin Boy………reveal to add a 2pt crew from outside the game…3…repl w/shipwright
23pts.......This is the main battleship, able to engage larger ships, with the aid of Mermaids, and take them out. It is especially deadly with Christopher Mings for only 3 extra points!
2pts HMS Frolic(2 mast, no L guns can hit)……..2 cargo…..Long and Short
-5pts Administror Scott Bradley: adds +5 pts to build availability
-3pts......Frolic is a great little skiff for harassing big ships with only long range guns. I love driving opponents crazy harassing their monsters from behind with a "little yappy dog"
Adding Bradley here is just fitting him where he will not be in the way
Total so far: 20 pts
09pts HMS Half Moon(2 masts, steal treasure from ships she touches)….5 cargo…..Short + Short
06pts…The Gentleman (Move + shoot, 1 re-roll per turn)
15pts....This is a gold hunter with acceptable speed given Oxley will penetrate and kill enemy gold hunters. The Half Moon has guns and the Gentleman in the event my opponent ignores Oxley and hunts my treasure ship. But her holds are deep enough to hunt the high value coins out there. If need be, Frolic can harass the enemy battleship and keep it off the Half Moon
35 points so far
And at last, the strategy items:
02pts Favor of the Gods.....to protect my ships from unwanted events
03pts Mermaids.......to pin the enemy battleship for the kill
5 pts
40 points total....
I have not looked at unique treasures that might compliment this fleet yet and would love to hear what you have to say?
