This fleet is unfortunately also pirate, like the first one posted by ziotoo4. I tried to make it as different as possible, but unfortunately the Banshee's Cry is a must in any pirate gold runner fleet and the Jolly Mon with the Hag of Tortuga is the easiest way for the extra five points. The difference's however is in that I chose Angelica and the Hai Peng as my other ships/sea monsters.
Angelica is a great choice for this competition because she allows you to eliminate one cargo from the ship she attacks with every hit. It is a good crew counter and treasure eliminator against the oppossing fleet. With its unlimited base move, no traesure runner is safe.
The Hai Peng was my other choice because of it's large cargo and great speed. With a captain she gets +L to her base move. I put Captain Jack Sparrow because he links to all pirates ships and her cargo hold can almost always clean out an island of gold, thus allowing her to move away from an island after it is explored and looted completely via Captain Jack's ability.
I threw if Favor of the Gods as a counter to any nasty events, and Divers as a means to scoop up all the treasure from one of Angelica's attacks.
I also put in the Unique tresure, Turtles, to try and road/sea block an enemy if I get it, or to just take up a cargo space if an opponent gets it.
I think this gold running based fleet has potential and am definetly going to try playing it now.

Miniature text: Parley. If a ship is given a shoot action to shoot at a target ship with this keyword, before any dice are rolled the target’s player can parley for safe passage. In order to parley, the target must be carrying treasure coins or her player must have treasure coins on his or her home island. The attacking player receives one treasure coin at random from either the target or her player’s home island (chosen by the target’s player). The treasure coin is automatically placed on the attacking player’s home island, and the target can’t be shot at the remainder of that turn.
When given an explore action, if this ship chooses the last treasure coin from an island, this ship can be given a move action

Fantastic fleet! I love Angelica, my favorite sea creature! Also I like this Jack Sparrow combo with the Hai Peng. I've always used the other Captain Jack.
I'm not sure I understand what you're doing with Turtles, but I don't think it can hurt you in this challenge, so congratulations on the win!
I had to use this Captain Jack to fulfill the parley keyword requirement that was in play, but i also thought that it just worked better with the style i was going with in the fleet and he has the link to pirate ships giving more cargo. he also allows the extra move after wiping an island clean and since i don't have an explorer on that ship i thought he was the best choice to help me get home with the gold, while fulfilling the requirements, and based on the results, he did!
P.S. The turtles are mainly there because they are my favorite UT, is awesome, and has the possibility to help me create a floating wallto slow down oppenents, but it could always backfire. who knows that's what makes them awesome.

But Jack Sparrow (the no Captain version) doesn't have a captain keyword or the captain ability. So you can't take advantage of the Hai Peng's extra movement ability.
everywhere i looked except this site had card 019 from DPotC said captain next to it. even the WK card gallery, i will see if i own the card when i get home from work, but i unfortunately was relying on other sources. i will get to the bottom of this!
okay, so i found my copy of Captain Jack Sparrow 019 from DPotC. there is most deninetly the title "captain" in front of Jack Sparrow, Doesn't he stress this enough without me helping him, although ironically enough, the back of the card's flavor text has him as Jack Sparrow(go figure). this is something that needs to be fixed in the database here. i guess that is something for colringbk to fix, i'm not sure. anyway, i didn't think i was cheating there, and now i know that he was able to bring me the gold.

Fair enough, I stand corrected.
The "Jack Sparrow" 019 was entered into the database when we only had preview material to go from, hence the reason why there's such a long definition of Parley on the card. I don't believe it's been updated since the entire set came out. And yes, if you give him some time, colringbk should be able to fix it.
