This is just a collection from the various sets so far (Scum & Villainy excluded since its coming out in a couple of days). There's nothing too spectacular about it, its just a bunch of ships and cards I got together to play against my brother-in-law. Oh, and these are units I can spare from my collection, though I have a lot of stuff in the collections. But, we never played it, so I don't know how it would turn out. There is one important combo I wanted to exploit, so lets see how it works out.
Fleet
The fleet is composed of various ground and space units, but weighs more on the space aspect. I use a lot of 1-star Imperial Tie Fighters because of cards like Inspired. My first move is to get 5 one-star space units into the Contested Zone for that purpose. Aside from the Trooper icon, I tried to incorporate the Laser and Carrier icons as much as possible. Gray Squadron B-Wing, ST-178, and Vigilance all sport the TurboLaser icon, so those are my carrier killers.
L-2384 C-9979 Landing Craft stays in the home zone. Its like my protector. Hopefully I can pull Home Guard and take out the Objective Hunters. I plan on using most of ground units on defense, keeping them close to home to help out the Landing Craft.
Deck
There are just some staples you keep in your deck: Coordination, Concentration, and Inspired. Thats a given. My Objective Cards are typically defensive in nature. But, there are some cards I just wanted to try out.
Peacekeepers is one of them. It has the Elite icon which links up with my measly little, 1-star 41st Elite Corps BARC Speeders. Actually, this is the whole reason I have these guys out there. As soon as Peacekeepers is in my hand, I'll move the BARCs in with 4 other stars. The next combat action, I'll sacrifice them (unless they actually win) and move in 5 more stars of ships for free into the Contested Zone.
Reserves
This is the part I hate the most. What units should I put in the side, and what should I keep in the fight? Its always a tough call.
