OK. After colringbk pointed out the non-link between Cursed Crew 1 and Captain Barbossa, this fleet needed some reworking. I traded out those two for Hammersmith and a regular musketeer, swapped Mission for Hawkins and that allowed me to fit everyone on the Dutchman without Gaspar Zuan. So now I have 5 points to play with. Too bad it's not 6... El Chico as a support ship for now. Let me know if you have any better suggestions.
Now the Dutchman is faster, so it's more of a boarding threat, but I lost my world-hater. There's always a trade off...

I think you're mistaken about the link between Cursed Crew 1 and Captain Barbossa. My reference on the Card Gallery at WK is that Cursed Crew 1 links to Cursed Captain Barbossa, not Captain Barbossa. I haven't checked the FAQ ruling on it, but I don't think its a link. If thats the case, you're overloaded.

Also, I think putting all of your eggs in one basket is risky. It takes one item in these combos to mess up your whole plan. THen, it'll all go helter-skelter.

I do think that Flying Dutchman's boarding ability is the strongest part of this fleet. It gets a good chance of winning the boarding party, but it would be worth putting on a +1 boarding roll guy (if there is one for Pirates) and it works well defensively too. No ship will try to board this one if it knew it had a chance of losing all crew! And, no doctor can defend against that ability, since they will also be eliminated. Thats a strength and credit to this fleet.

D'oh! You're right! I couldn't find it in the FAC, but I found a ruling on the Rules Forum. Links have to match the name exactly. I'll fix it if I can. Thanks!
