I built this fleet for the "Curse of Cardinals Coins" scenario, but it'll work well as a standard gunfleet. The idea was to cram as many extra actions into the fleet to make the HMS Titan very, very scary. The USS Mercury would hold my coins, submerge, and be protected by the Titan. Once the Titan has derelicted a ship, I can move the Mercury (still submerged) over and swap a coin with them using Turner's ability. The HMS Patagonia stays at my Home Island and provides support.

Here's the list of the actions for the HMS Titan:
(Titan) roll 5 or 6 for extra action
(Dampier) roll 5 or 6 for SAT
(Derrik) sacrifice a crew for another action
(Lord Mycron) give any ship in your fleet a second action
(Beckett) roll a 6 to give any ship in your fleet an action (Owen for reroll)

If you swap your Jonathan Haraden for a normal captain you'll be able to add in the event "mermaids"!

Apart from that, great fleet, though i'm not a great fan of "a thousands action" fleets....

I thought about that, but I like to have the reroll option if the Mercury needs to fight. Plus, I don't like using Mermaids, since a number of our players include FotG in their builds, it just wastes 3 pts.

But, I include FotG in my builds, because other people do try to Mermaid me, occasionally.
