Fleet "The never ending ship" - 50 Points (extended format) show standard format
created by ziotoo4

Hi all!
this fleet is for deathmatch purpose, and while i will never play it (it hasn't got a funny gameplay at all, i'm sure) it surely is the best we can find for deathmatches. I'll keep the explanations briefly because i don't like this ship, but i had to make her to show how broken the new oarsman is.

At a first glance, this is an average ship, crewed with an helmsman, captain, two mutiple action crew, as well as a world hater (+1 to cannon rolls).

But the real strenght, is the oarsman-Mays-Schultz combo.

Due to the new FS oarsman rules, in fact, you have an immortal ship.
Yeah, you got that well. When your opponent will make the Dreadnought a derelict, you'll be able to keep shooting, because, with the oarsman, your ship cannot be derelict. And if your opponent tries to sink your ship, thanks to the eternal keyword you will simply dock her with no masts at your Home Island.

I repeat, i'm not going to play this fleet, but i must admit that, if i don't carry a canceller, this ship can be a very hard task to face in a deathmatch game.

Remember to follow her with a canceller ship, or simply swap Calico Cat for Lawrence (BC) to give her a canceller.

ciao! Fede

  • Collector's Number: 038

Once per turn, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, this ship may be given an extra action. This ship gets +1 to her cannon rolls against any non-Pirate ship.

The Cat seems to have used up another one of her lives. After being reported dead in the South China Seas, she somehow managed to steal an English merchantman loaded with silk and gold from Africa.

1 x Captain Montana Mays (PatOE)
  • Collector's Number: 096
  • Faction Affiliation: America
  • Rarity: R
  • Type: Crew
  • Point Value: 7
  • Miniature text:
Once per turn before you give this ship an action, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, this ship may be given the same action twice. This ship’s crew cannot be eliminated unless she sinks

May’s military commanders dislike his wild and reckless ways: he’s lost seven ships chasing sea monsters and other Cursed ilk. But they admit that he always finds a new ship to sail, even if she doesn’t meet Navy specs. His crew and the American press love him, and extol his exploits every chance they get.

Gus Schultz seems to pop up whenever a docked ship prepares to go out to sea. Sailors claim that you can go to the log of any American ship at any time and see the name Gus Schultz on her rolls.

Very hard to kill, but certainly not invincible.

If I were playing against you, I'd cancel Brother Virgil first. This means that Montana Mays and Gus Schultz fall over board, and then, well, your ship just isn't that great anymore.

Hmm...looks like I should give another look at El Toro...not the crab, the blockade runner.

They won't fall overboard, they just won't be able to be used that turn.
