I officially declare this Spanish meta!

First of all, I included the Spanish staple Blood Money. It doesn't affect me, and it hurts everyone else, so there's no big deal there. Well, unless they're also Spanish.

Now, the San Cristobal (sorry) can deal out tons of damage. With 3 chances of extra actions, and all rank 2 cannons, I can shoot down most ships and not even break a sweat.

I have also included La Monarca, which has 3 cargo and moves S+S+S.
This is what I predict the Spanish meta to be. The Cristobal can fight with the best of them, the Monarca can run with the best of them.

I'm beginning to look like a power player.

Edits I have made to this fleet:
1. Removed Dominic Freda, Added in Favor of the Gods. I have absolutely no idea of what to do with the last point...

2. Phantasus suggest I add an oarsman to protect San Cristobal's crew temporarily from crew killers. Thanks for the great suggestion!

3. Now that Exploding Shot isn't as useful, Double shot also kind of lost its luster. I also removed an oarsman and Divers, so that I could add in a worldhater at the request of Danomight.

Looks good. Only one minor nitpick: no defense against Mermaids.

That IS true. Should I throw out Freda for just a regular explorer, and perhaps add in FotG and...crud. What else can I really buy for 1 point? Raft?

Hi vlad! Great fleet! Nothing new on the spanish front from this new set, and cristobal remains the best gunship...
Have you ever considered using the Diablo in your fleet? Maybe towed by la monarca---

Hey Ziotoo!

I would argue against there being nothing new on the Spanish front, unless you aren't counting crew, in which case you are pretty much right.

I can't see the Cristobal ever being taken over anytime soon, much like the HMS Titan.

And yes, I've considered Flotillas, but the problem is that you have to build around them-too much work for me, personally.

Hey Vlad!

Great fleet! What about using your last point for an oarsman? You could use him either on the Monarca in case she becomes derelicted or on the Cristobal to protect more important crews from crew killers. In most cases your fleet won't need an oarsman but since you have 1 point left it's no waste

I do have some pretty important crew on the Cristobal...so I will put the oarsman on it.

I love your use of Cristobal, but the only quibble I have with how you you've crewed her is that you haven't upgraded those rank 3 cannon. You could do Luis Zuan instead of Victor de Alva, then drop double shot and the oarsman to get Mermaids. I mean, what's the point of all the speed and equipment if you're not going to be able to hit often enough?

I removed ES, DS, an oarsman, and Divers to add in the LE Devante del Nero.
