Fleet "40 pt. fleet, 10 pt. ships Fra" - 40 Points (standard format) show extended format
created by captain_arrr

I have some fleets I am working on for my venue for next week. We're going with 40 points, and no ship can cost more than 10 points!

This one is similar to the fleet I wrote for the Pirates. The Chance and Jaguar head in tandem to a constested Wild Island, or elsego looking for trouble. They should be able to take on anything in the water since all the other ships will be 10 points or less. And the Rerolls on both ships should make sure the cannons hit!

The Pique and Le Bon Marin will of course treasure run to the "safe" wild islands, the Marin heading to the maybe less safe WI.

L'Intrepide isn't quite as fast, but probably a better treasure runner than Le Pique.

The helmsman on Le Bon Marin probably isn't necessary. With 2 more points, you could upgrade the Jaguar to Le Triton or East Wind (although the Jaguar has better cannons... hmm.)

Yeah, I think I am going to keep the Jaguar.

As for L'intrepid, yeah it has cargo space, but I need speed. Seriously, in the games I play speed is much more important than cargo space. I'd rather get that 5, 3, 2 coin back to my home island, than get that last 1 coin and get blown out of the water by an errant gunship.
