Hi all! Dragging inspiration from an idea seen on WK forums, this fleet developes the concept of HI Raiders. The problem with this kind of ships is that they often get blown out of the water: How to stop this thing? But with parley, of course. One treasure given to your opponent will guarantee you one turn of tranquillity, and you won't lose anything, because on your next turn you'll be again at your opponent's HI, taking again the coins you gave him! This creates, obviously, a perptual movement that will end with your victory!

Our "gunship" is the White Rose, that can easily protact herself. If she is in troubles, simply use parley! The brand new Mysion also provides tha captain ability...wow! An helmsman ends the painting...so we have a HI raider that moves L+S+S...coool!

The shadow is our treasure runner. While she can steal treasure, her cargo spaces can also be used to go for treasure on wild islands. There's no explorer, because Jck's ability states that anexplore action is needed to gain the extra movement...a reverse explorer, basically! Here, too, there is an helmsman.

Leave Marianne docked at your HI, carrying a +5 bonus crew. This ship is useful to spy enemy ship's cargos. If a ship manages to unload more than half of the starting treasure, you lose! Marianne is useful because, if you see a ship carrying high-value coins you can go sinking her!

Lastly, remember that during setup you should choose the nearest island to your opponent's Hi as your Home Island.

The greatest thing about Parley is this: Even though the treasure goes to your opponent's HI, you can just have the White Rose steal it back!
Very good fleet Ziotoo!
Essentially, since Mysion and the Rose work together so well, one could actually win the game by just parleying and stealing it back, while in the middle shooting down any enemy ship!
I give it a 5/5, just because of the great potential with Mysion and the White Rose.
Also, I don't know if using the Shadow would be the greatest idea. There's other Pirate HI raiders, right?

Hi vlad! There are others pirate HI raiders, but all of them move L or S+S. Only the White Rose moves L+S. The Shadow was the less expensive (only 13 points) and had 6 cargos, makin sure to attend Jack's ability, wich states "when this shps removes the last treasure on an island, she may be given a move action". If we look for pirates raiders with 5 cargos, we only have two ships that cost 14 points and move L...Shadow is only 13 points for 6 cargos so i tought it was good! ;-)

Great idea with the double-parley and double-HI-raiders! This could work very well in a real game! The best way to counter it would be to use cancelers. (Attack, have Parley invoked, take the gold, then cancel parley and resume the shooting. They pay you for your cannonballs!) Perhaps the Coleoptera with Parley would be a menacing addition. Not only does it have Parley, but it would also be able to submerge to escape. (You'd need a crew to HI-raid...perhaps Captain Villenueva.)

Use Jolly Mon and the Hag instead of Marianne and Jules to save two points. Possibly use them to buy Favor of the Gods to protect against events?

Marianne is needed to spy cargo! If a ship unloads all treasure in a time, she wins!
