Fleet "ziotoo4 challenge fleet" - 45 Points (standard format) show extended format

How could i stand a challenge like the one that Phimatine throw us? Here's the fleet i play with while i wait for my RoTF boosters (then i'll switch to "the fleet i play with" fleet!).
So, a very normal fleet that begins to bore me. Still very powerful, howewer, even if i like most the Mercury fleet i posted, because it's more creative and less seen around.

The Titan is full of crew:we start from the classical captain-helsman combo, but we have also the 2nd extra action (Dampier) as well as a Headhunter that gives us a cannon boost and the Sac action, if we're really in trouble. Someone might want to point out that spending 5 points (3 for the Sac ability and 2 to allow pirates to go aboard this ship) is stupid, but i can assure you that the 4th action turned out to be very useful, as my opponent would never have thought that i actually had a 4 th action, and this brought me the victory!

The mercer-hermione gold-spencer portland-helmsman-oarsman-oarsman combo is 2 points cheaper, but i don't have those cards, so...

Our treasure runner is Banshee's cry, with a Silver explorer. She also carry an helmsman to drop on a pirate ship that the titan could derelict so thatshe doesn't need to be towed home, or to provide extra sac fodder to the Headhunter!

Lastly we have marianne with the +5 crew, to spy the enemy ships, being sure that there isn't any bad surprise!

Devil's Maw must be built by Banshee's cry to save every crew that could be eliminated from my opponent!

Granted, it is a reliable strategy, loading up the Titan to make it a quadruple action ship and tossing in the Banshee's Cry. Still, I still think my fleet stands an even chance (50/50) of overcoming this one. The real question to determine the winner will be who is the the first to catch the others runners. I would place your home island as near to mine so I could and begin chasing down your one masted runners with my submarine. Catching them is key, as you dare not risk the unknown nasties of exploring a wild island with the Titan and once derelict they are no longer a threat. (I'd cancel the oarsman, and if the Titan was far enough away I'd give the cannons on the Devil Ray a try.) Also, both my runners would make for the nearest island, grab the gold, and head for the well positioned fog bank placed nearby. Nemesio Diaz may help against the Titan's captain, but the extra actions would be deadly.

Hmm...i think with my L+S+S+L+S+L+S+L titan, catching both of your challenge fleet's runners wouldn't be a problem, even in the 1st turn, if you put your island near to mine. And also if in the meanwhile you sink my Banshee, i would still have the Titan with 5 cargos, 5 2 rank cannons and a SAC Captain that could help me making room for treasure, and you would have left simply your Devil Ray, wich is untouchable but can't dock at your HI. The worst situation ever: you still have a ship moving, your opponent doesn't sink her so that the game doesn't end, and a turn after another brings home all the treasure.
ciao! Fede

Why would they leave my home island with the Titan so close? I can afford to wait a while while I take the treasure runner is out of commission... Also, your speed will only be that fast if you make all the rolls and sac a crew, which is a 1/9 chance. After I got the runner I would go straight for the Titan with my sub. If I cancel Dampier, you will probably only move one or two times, giving my runners a fighting chance.
