This Fleet is meant to strip the booty from your enemy by taking or destroying their treasure ships while building a winning cushion. The Temple combo is what makes it work, but you have to be careful with the Grand Temple's excess of gun power. The fleet works like this:

The Grand Temple is a great ship, and would be simply awesome except for the small cargo capacity. With Hermione Gold at the helm, it becomes a superior gunship with enough cargo capacity to take off the best of your enemy's cargo. With careful moderation of the cannon power that she brings to bear, and a bit of luck, you can leave your enemy alone and derelict.

The Sea Tiger follows the Grand Temple, carrying Commander Temple. The Sea Tiger has no special abilities, and little cargo space, but is is just as fast as the Grand Temple, a perfect transport for Commander Temple. Since both ships reappear instantly back at your home island, the Sea Tiger's speed is needed to get back in to the mix and possibly pick out another derelict.

The Trepassy is the gold gatherer of the fleet, blazing fast while outbound and still having good speed loaded with cargo.

This fleet looks like it should do ok. You do need to shuffle a few things around though.

Commander Temple is six points, so he cannot fit on the five point Antelope. You could move him to the Grand Temple, which I see as actually ideal since you could then cripple the ship and then get out of there for repairs.

This fleet seems like a fine concept to me. I would definitely be afraid to see the Grand Temple coming at me
captain_nemo is right, though. It would be illegal to have Commander Temple on the Antelope.
Rather than the Antelope, there are a couple of different British ships that I thought could work - unfortunately they are both SE from OE so you may not have them. They are Bilge and Sea Tiger.
Bilge is just as fast as the Antelope, and can take more hits. She also has a particularly nice cannon. The Sea Tiger can't fight at all, but is blazing fast. Between the two, the Sea Tiger would be easier to get if you didn't have one, you could trade for it or just see if you could grab a couple OE tins at Target.
Oh, right. You could fit the ship in your fleet by removing either Divers or the Explorer. Up to you, but I would take out Divers because you are planning on stealing anyway.
Or you could do what Nemo says, but that just isn't as much fun, plus the Antelope would be mostly useless then

Oh hey don't forget to edit the fleet and fix the illegal bit ASAP. Otherwise, I don't think anyone will vote on a illegal fleet. I would probably give it a 4 once you fix it

The quick fix for the point issue with Commander Temple is to swap him with the Explorer on HMS Hound. The cargo space doesn't work out quite as nicely for exploring purposes, but then again you're going to be grabbing enemy derelicts constantly so both HMS Hound and HMS Antelope can spend most of their time running treasures. You can always divert HMS Hound later when you need it, and depending on the timing and location it might even be a quicker way to get a load of treasure home.

You should also look into adding some crew support for Hermione, because even with a ship at powerful as HMS GT she's extremely vulnerable sitting there by herself. All it takes is one shot from a crew-killer or even a boarding gone wrong and she's as good as dead, and without her HMS GT becomes a big, fat, easy target for any gunships with captains that are in the area.

Thanks for spotting the error. When I had written it out on paper, somehow I'd used the BC point value (5) for Commander Temple. I've switched out some ships, but I'll have to get my hands on a Sea Tiger before I can try it out.

I would probably take out the explorer and add a piece of gunnery equipment to the Grand Temple. Strong fleet anyway.

I am unsure, but I believe that according to the Pirate Code crew count as cargo. If I am right then that means HMS Trepassey does no get +L to her move with an Explorer aboard. So you might want to remove that, and maybe put an Oarsman onboard HMS Grand Temple because, as woelf said, if Hermione Gold dies the GT is pretty much useless. Oarsman acts as a nice meat shield.

Correct - crew do count as cargo, so HMS Trepassey would not get the bonus with an Explorer onboard. The only way it goes full speed is if it's completely empty.

Since the Trepassy gains +L without crew, leaving the explorer at home shouldn't be much of a problem. It would be good if Adminstrator Bratley could be fitted in somewhere, perhaps on the Sea Tiger, as then the Grand temple can be crewed better and an event or two can be added.

This has the makings of a very tough fleet, although things might get a little finicky with Commander Temple - even on the Sea Tiger, in most games I'm betting he'll only get to use his ability once, so he'll want to make the right choice - towing derelicts with the Trepassy might actually turn out to be the better option.

Commander Temple is still useful to get a ship back and ready for repairs really fast - or to claim the gold. In a multiplayer game especially I can see Temple easily paying for himself. Towing derelicts with the Trepassey is still an option, since of course she could move L+S even with one (w/out cargo).
