A fleet designed for long game survival, it was originally intended for use in my “Uncharted Territories” scenario. The Blackwatch and Peacock are the gunships, while the Lynx and the Boston are the treasure runners.

The plan behind this fleet is to send all four ships in the same direction. Preferably towards a line where two unexplored islands are in a row. Have the lynx stop at the closest island, while the Boston keeps going. The two gunships should be swinging back around one turn before the Lynx leaves loaded with treasure. If all goes well, the Boston will be building a fort with treasure delivered by the Lynx.

Stay away from really bad unique treasures, although Rum and Buried Treasure are two I usually use with this fleet. Spices, Relics, and Dry powder is a nice way to round this out.

There are still 5 points available, I usually use Mermaids and Hidden Cove or Favor of the Gods.

    Its odd to see the Peacock as a gunship! Granted, its got good cannons and all. I wonder what this fleet look like with some of the newer American ships coming around. USS Stephens is one that catches my eye. Nice job!

    Lose the cannoner for Exploding Shot on Blackwatch and an explorer on one of your runners.

    I would also ditch Lynx for Rattlesnake and a Helmsman.
