Well, since Spain now has the disgustingly fast San Cristobal now, I figured that I should at least fix up the original Slingshot.
San Cristobal, 17 (29)
Luis Zuan, 2
Helmsman, 2
Nikos Chelios, 5
Capitan Alarico Castro, 3
El Afortunado, 4 (3)
Contessa Anita Amore, -5
LE Dominic Freda, 4
La Anunciada, 7 (
Explorer, 1
In this one, we replace Pavon/Fuchs with Nikos Chelios, who allows you to steal 2 treasures on a touch. Of course, I can only steal one per turn though. This should not be hard, as San Cristobal on her first turn will be moving a brisk S+S+S+S+L. If you roll nicely for Castro's action, then the Cristobal can move S+S+S+S+S+S+S+L+L. Yeah. Wow. Look out, Banshee's Cry! Now, we run into a problem. After I have ravaged my opponent's treasure runners, and have stolen a gold, how will I be able to unload my treasure? That's what El Afortunado is for. Also, when El Afortunado unloads gold, I get +2 to it. Not bad, it's kind of like the Gold Factory. La Anunciada is my 'treasure' runner, although I am debating removing it for an explorer-less La Monarca. Also, even though La Anunciada can only carry 1 gold, it will be unloaded onto the Afortunado, then put on the HI. Also, I have Blood Money in my fleet, because...well...why not? It doesn't hurt my ships, so it doesn't matter!
This fleet is probably my favorite, even though I don't have the San Cristobal...yet! (PM me if you have one for trade!)
