This is an essay to see what I could work out with 30 points and no Rare or LE items.
Just to see if a really cheap, down-to-earth, fleet could work well...

I think this might work. No Captains: in a 30 points game there's little room for fighting. Our aim is reaching Wild Islands as fast as possible, and clean them before the opponent could react, leaving perhaps just some "1" coins.
Darkhawk II might work as a ferry to bring gold from the explorer ships to our HI while they go to explore new places.

What about a Captain on the Darkhawk as well? It's a shame to waste those cannons!

I know, at 40 points I would have done it no doubt. At 30 I think the odds to fight are much lower, and treasure hunting pays more.
