General description:
Across various forums this little fellow has been both praised and bashed. Some people say that the points would be much better spent on a pog or two, or that four clicks means he often still dies in one click. Others say that he is one of the better tie up pieces ever made. I, for one, side with the latter opinion.
Uses:
This figure can fit on just about any team with a few extra points and can even be used to fill out some nice themed teams (Gotham City, Police). He can be used purely as a tie up piece taking advantage of his full dial (Albeit only four clicks) of Plasticity, or as a secondary attacker since he has very respectable AVs.
Strategies and game play:
On the battlefield this miniature is almost universally overlooked. He is only twenty points and people rarely see him as a threat worth dealing with, and this works towards your advantage. By placing him to the side of an ongoing combat (8 movement provides solid mobility) and firing at various opponents with his 6 range he is bound to hit someone for 2 with his 9 attack. Or have him block line of sight and tie up that key support piece in the back.
Combos with other miniatures:
A little TK will make this bugger a big thorn in your opponents side real fast, or a little perplex can make his a surprisingly scary attacker.
Ways to counteract it:
I mean, I guess he only has four clicks so one big hit will take him out, however, better him than someone more crucial to your team.
Strengths/Pros:
Good Keywords
Extremely low points
Surprisingly good stats for his points
Full dial of plasticity
Weaknesses/Cons:
taken out in one hit by higher cost figs
Artwork and aesthetics:
Not a great sculpt but it sure looks like a cop.
Overall rating:
I give this figure a solid 8.0 for its versatility and low cost
