Joysides Attack (This ship's cannons have a range of 6L and they can shoot only when she has treasure aboard. When this ship successfully hits a target ship, instead of losing a mast, the target's crew are identified as good boys and girls. Place one of this ship's treasure tokens aboard the target if the target has available cargo capacity. Until the target unloads this treasure, she may be given only move actions to dock at the nearest island. When the traget docks, roll one d6. The Target must spend that number of turns there in joyous revelry).

This ship cannot be shot at, and she cannot sink. She begins the game fully loaded with treasure from her controller's collection. Her base move becomes 6L when she has no available cargo capacity.

General description:
This is quite possibly the coolest promotional ship I've ever seen. For those who don't know, this ship was part of a ship/crew combo with Captain Whitebeard that was given to WizKids envoys as a "thank you" during the Christmas season of 2005.

Uses:
The stats and abilities of this ship are totally out of balance, game-wise, but they're meant as a good-natured joke. As an envoy, I find this ship a great one to build scenarios around. It's something most people won't have and it will definitely come as a surprise to unsuspecting players!

Strategies and game play:
You don't really need a strategy with this ship because it's practically invincible. Monsieur LeNoir and Nemesio Diaz could theoretically turn off its ability for long enough to sink it but honestly... who's going to open fire on Santa Claus?

Combos with other miniatures:
If you're using the Sleigh without Captain Whitebeard go back to kindergarten, already.

Ways to counteract it:
Ability-cancelling crew could make this ship vulnerable.

Strengths/Pros:
- Capable of attaining "Ludicrous speed" at L+L+L
- Ability makes it practically invulnerable
- Joysides Attack is downright hilarious

Weaknesses/Cons:
None.

Artwork and aesthetics:
The Christmas lights and garlands are awesome. This is a truly unique-looking ship.

Overall rating:
This gets a 10 out of 10 from me for being the most fun addition to Pirates I can think of.

Very cool ship.

I'm going to challenge my cousin to a Pirates match on December 24th with this Ship and Whitebeard. A Gold Coin Every turn plus unlimited Cargo and Movement...

neat looking. thought about using it in special circumstances, liek removing joysides and limiting the speed to just L+L.

but eh.

i still have 2 unopened packs left, so yeah. i wish rudolph was on the front of it though.

not sure how this got to be review of the week though...

Okay, that's out of my system, now - I can't complain too loudly, as my Tiger review also benefited from the recent spate of voter-apathy.

Something I didn't really appreciate about the Sleigh is it can't actually do any damage, other than to ram(after which it would likely be pinned and left utterly helpless if a canceler is around), so these people who come up with uber-Sleigh fleets would seem to be barking up the wrong trees...Although I suppose she could be loaded up with nasty UT's, like Runes of Death, to be placed on the ships she fires at.

Well, now my Dutchman review only needs one more vote--but it's at .11 lower than it was due to a four with no explanation why.
