Too good a deal not to include it in every (just about) build.

As mentioned many times before, a great little ship. Worth getting a couple of extra copies of if you play it a lot. Eventually, the little guy is going to break down from overuse. Very Good Review, right to the point.

Frankly, I found this review lacking in several different areas:
1)No mention was made of Navigators and/or Trade Currents and how the BC could be made even speedier by using them.
2)Mysterious Islands were also "mysteriously" left out of the equation, which is a serious lapse, as there are several different ones which can have an impact on the Cry's gold-gathering capability.
3)Odin's Revenge is a counteract that absolutely had to be mentioned as being most useful against the Banshee's Cry.
4)Sea Dragons should also have been included with the counteracts, as well as Native Canoes and ships like the San Cristobal.
And that's just a start, not even mentioning how the English and French have been bolstered by Mycron and Deleflote, and so on...So, overall, I'm going to have to go with dude12 and pandaboy, and say this review was not very informative - "Good Try", though!

@Lordstu?
Check the date that the 1st post was... 2005. Those additions to the game didn't exist yet.
Just an fyi to check the date before you post.

Lordstu?
The guys who posted the the first comments are no longer on Miniature Trading. Also I think your vote was a bit low. I believe Pirates CSG came out
a year earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't remember for sure, but I believe I was trying to make a point about dredging up old reviews, hence I included references to a lot of things that have been added to the game since the review was first written. I will admit that there are some reviews here that are "timeless", and it's nobody's fault, but this obviously was not one of them and it might have been better left at the bottom of the pile - besides, it wasn't often I got to agree with dude12, so it was nice for a change.

This one got dragged up again? I guess I might as well vote on it this time...
Even if you ignore all the things that were added to the game after this was first written, it's still very light on information and really only covers the absolute basics. A solid 3 for its time, but much lower now.
