As skilled in combat as she is at the roulette table, “Frankie” Amir has mastered the “woman’s touch.” Although she was born Francesca Amir, Frankie hasn’t used that name since she took up with her Nova Cat, nicknamed “9-ball,” about a decade ago. Apparently finding mercenary contracts to be more of a sure thing than gambling, Amir has little trouble finding work in the competitive environment emerging in the Inner Sphere. Other gunslingers (branded “jealous” by Amir) chalk this up to the fact that Amir is both easy on the eyes and tough on the competition.
