Olympic hopeful Victor Stone's dreams are shattered when his body is nearly destroyed in an alien attack. His scientist father fits him into a cybernetic suit to keep him alive. His new body gives him increased strength, speed and swapable accessories including laser finger, a white-sound blaster and grappling hook. Angered at his condition, Vic eventually finds solace as a member of the new Teen Titans.
