Created during the "Emperor Joker" event, Bizarro #1 is an imperfect duplicate of the man of steel. Bizarro has backwards powers like fiery breath and freezing vision as well as Superman's flight and super-strength! His backwardness even extends to his language! (Goodbye is hello and bad is good.) After Joker's defeat, Bizarro was captured and tortured by General Zod. He has since escaped to battle and baffle Superman with his bizarre backwardness.
