After the death of the the original Cheetah, Priscilla Rich, Kobra kidnaps and brainwashes her niece Deborah Domaine to create a new Cheetah. The process gives Debbie cat-like agility and ferocity. Her razor-sharp fingernails can cut through steel. After clashing with Wonder Woman, Cheetah joins the secret society of super-villains to battle the JLA. However, Debbie Domaine is wiped from reality during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
