This ship is a tough ship if played properly with the combat/objective cards. Just a little difficult to figure out which is the alt ship and the regular ship

This ship is best used for the "Transport" Icon. It would have been nice if this ship had been given a Damage rating of 1 instead of zero. If you happen to play a Combat card with a Damage number on it....Thats a happy bonus. Otherwise a tough ship unless you use a more powerful ship to attack this ship with.

The Tie Interceptor's stats reflect its a fastmoving cheaply built starfighter that does little Damage. The BEST way to offset this problem is to use the combat cards properly to get more damage inflicted than without the combat cards. This is TRUE with other ships that have a 0 or a 1 for Damage.

I'd use this ship for 'Recon' since this is a hover Car that has a Blaster icon for bonuses.

The Rancor's stats should reflect that these are like Godzilla's without the breath of flame! the Attack ought to be +3 Defense 10, Damage 3 and shields 5. This makes them a Much Better threat than before and ONLY long range combat can take them out!

This ship would be Superior if it could inflict damage on its own. The only way you can use this ship to inflict damage is for a Combat card to have the Damage icon on it and or damage ability if the droid, leader or command icons are also on the same card. Otherwise a tough ship to kill unless your opponent has a bigger ship that can destroy this one with the luck of the dice in one attack!

This review could benefit from identifying which laser-icon cards would work best with this unit. Nien Nunb is a good example of such a combo that would boost the stats considerably in an effective strategy involving Aayla's ship.

I am surprised at the high rating of your review, as the article you've written has very little to no information about how to use the unit. Naming strategies and combos would go a long way to improving this article. Even a little on the design would have made this review better. You say it's good, but you never really say what, specifically, makes it good.

There is are a couple of strategies that you haven't touched on involving the use of three Rogue Shadows in a fleet to divide the opponent's focus, possibly because not many players went out and bought three TFU collectors tins.

Pretty good review; short and to the point. The biggest problem with this unit besides the lack of damage is the 1 shield. I like my droid units to be repairable, in case you don't happen to draw a damage stopping card at the time it gets attacked. And since it doesn't do damage, people don't mind attacking it a lot! |
