This depends on the actual item you're requesting of course, some Rares might require me to ask for 2 or 3 codes.

I'd be willing to give up the code thingy I got today for some random ship or crew. Look through my want list and see if you have any of it. I'm not real picky despite the fact I have some high value stuff on there.

Edit, that was quick, mine went out today as a trade. I'll probably get more though, I like the tins and my store has all of them.

I've made a few trades, however still have lots of items left. I'm trying to grow my online collection from extra pieces I have from the physical game.

My general rule of thumb is:

I'm willing to TRADE 1 Rare, 2 Uncommons or 4 common actual items for 1 unused redemption code found in the Ocean'e Edge tins.

This depends on the actual item you're requesting of course, some Rares might require me to ask for 2 or 3 codes. As well as some of the LE/PR items I have.

Please contact me before providing the code and I'll verify I still have the item you're looking for.

Correct, aragorn. I've used 4 different codes from 4 different tins, and got a pack from each.

It is a virtual pack from the Spanish Main set - it may be identical to another one you've had in the past but I personally haven't had many duplicates at all.

I can also up my offer to 1 rare, 2 uncommon, or 4 commons (sorry flinxrap), depending on the rare. I will offer more uncommons or commons from the older sets because most people seem to have them by now. I like the online game, but I don't want to pay twice. It is frustrating not having helmsmen or captains.

Do you have to have the same nationality in the online game for Captains and helmsmen or do they give you a break on that one? I wouldn't touch that game for anything if they don't give you many of them. It was bad enough getting helmsmen in the real game for each faction and even now I bet I still can't use one on every ship for a same nationality fleet.

Why would they give you a break? They want you to buy cards.
But I got really lucky with my free packs. I got HMS Titan, Myngs, Brother Virgil (so I can use other crew) and exactly one captain (spanish) and helmsman (pirate). Without crew, ramming comes up a lot more.
